Macra-Weave Workshop

Come and spend a couple of creative hours discovering the beautiful combination of macramé and weaving and create your very own textured macra-weave wall hanging to take home.

Perfect for complete beginners, this relaxed workshop will introduce you to a selection of basic macramé knots and simple weaving techniques, showing you how they can be combined to create something completely unique.

You’ll have a gorgeous selection of colourful yarns, fibres and textures to choose from, although deciding on your colour palette might just be the hardest part!

I’ll guide you through the process step by step, giving you plenty of opportunity to experiment with colour, texture and different techniques as your wall hanging takes shape.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have created your own approximately 25cm wide x 30cm high macra-weave wall hanging, ready to add a little handmade texture to your home – or give as a lovely, one-of-a-kind gift.

No previous macramé or weaving experience is needed. All materials are included, so simply come along, relax and enjoy learning a new creative skill.
